Today I ordered a Mega-Mac value meal on a whim. I thought that was the end of my America-binge for the quarter, but tonight I came home and spilled a bottle of Coke all over my bed and drank the rest while reading about videogames and eating potato chips.

The Guilty Catholic syndrome is setting in but good right now. Sleeping it off.

American History

Robert Wuhl, the comedian, is, as it turns out, a very apt historian. The video is a half-hour special of a history class he teaches where he debunks a lot of American historical myths, like Paul Revere's ride, the apparently modern tendency in America to vote for celebrities, and the origin of the flat world theory from 1492. Plus some other stuff. It's really interesting; you should give it a watch.
