It's that time of year again.

I don't usually get pulled into New Year's resolutions, but damn does National Novel-Writing Month tickle my you-know-you'll-fail-but-what-the-hell bone every year.

I think I'll write about a throng of gummi bears who wake up one day (which I hope you'll agree is a very strange thing for a gummi bear to do). After testing out their mysterious and newfound consciousnesses, they are forced to join the working world--but with America tottering on the brink of its first minority presidential candidate, can they too find acceptance on the mean streets of New York's garment district?

It's a Greek tragedy.

For the past three or four years, I've been tempted by NaNoWriMo (that's what we l337's call it). I never do it. Good luck to you, sir.
